SENSORS

Banner

Banner Engineering has a wide variety of sensors to solve challenging problems all over the world. New and innovative technology in photoelectrics, laser distance measurement, ultrasonics, and fiber optics work to solve almost any industrial automation application.
Photoelectric sensors, also known as photo eyes, emit a beam of light that is used to detect the presence or absence of items and equipment or changes in surface conditions. When the emitted light is interrupted or reflected by the object, the change in light patterns is measured by a receiver and the target object or surface is recognized.
Banner offers the world’s most complete line of photoelectric sensors – over 12,000. We supply sensors to virtually all the manufacturing companies in the Fortune 500.

Cognex

In-Sight 2000 series vision sensors combine the power of an In-Sight vision system with the simplicity and affordability of a vision sensor. Ideal for solving error-proofing applications, these vision sensors set new standards for value, ease of use and flexibility thanks to a powerful combination of proven In-Sight vision tools, a simple setup, and a modular design featuring field-changeable lighting and optics.
In-Sight 2000 series vision sensors can also be configured for in-line and right-angle mounting installation. This modular body design provides maximum flexibility to mount in tight spaces, allows for customized wiring and optical paths, and minimizes the need to design new mechanical fixtures.

Turck

Turck is adding the robust LTE for direct integration in hydraulic cylinders to its portfolio of linear position sensors. The magnetostrictive sensor can withstand shocks of up to 100 g and the vibrations that typically occur with agricultural and forestry machinery. The device is also insensitive to external influences, so that the LTE is even suitable for use in the hydraulic cylinders of construction machinery in extremely severe environments.
The user can set the measuring range flexibly according to the sensor type. Thanks to the field-proven magnetostrictive technology, the wear-free operating LTE guarantees high precision, linearity and repeatability.
