Delta E-Series AC Drive Specifications

Applicatipons

The VFD-E series represent Delta Electronics low horsepower, constant torque, IP20 rated Drive. Modular in design with flexible extension cards and a built-in PLC function, the E drive offers the ability to write and to execute simple Ladder Logic programs. This state-of-the-art series meets a full range of application requirements. The VFD-E series offers Modular Design, Standard MODBUS Protocol, Built-in EMC Filter (230V single-phase and 460V 3-phase), Compact Design, Optional Fieldbus Modules, Flexible Extension, RFI Switch for IT Mains, Easy DC Bus Sharing, Complete Protection Functions and Removable Keypad.

In VFD-E Series the protection circuit uses the multifunction output terminal of the AC motor drive for connection. When an abnormal condition (closed contact) occurs, the external power supply is disconnected to protect the power system of the AC motor drive.
Multiple VFD-E units can be connected in parallel to share regenerative braking energy. It prevents over-voltage and stabilizes the DC bus voltage.
High precision current detection, full overload protection (oL, oL1 and oL2), overvoltage/overcurrent stall prevention, short circuit protection, reset after fault, speed search function and motor overheat protection by PTC.
The standard keypad acts as a status monitor. More functions, including parameter modification, RUN/STOP, speed change, and status display, are available via an optional keypad.
