Answer:
  •  Click on System Setting – Unit Setting
  •  Click on the Backlight tab. There are several options
    •  Always ON: The backlight is always on.
    •  Auto 1:
      •  Backlight OFF conditions:

        •  Bit 11 of the Read Area “n+1” is reset
        •  All touch switches are off.
        •  The screen display remains unchanged.
        •  Backlight time has elapsed
      •  Backlight ON conditions:
        •  Bit 11 of the Read Area “n+1” is reset.
        •  The screen is pressed
    •  Auto 2:
      •  Backlight OFF conditions:

        •  Bit 11 of the Read Area “n+1” is reset.
        •  All touch switches are off.
        •  Backlight time has elapsed.
      •  Backlight ON conditions:
        •  Bit 11 of the Read Area “n+1” is reset.
        •  The screen is pressed
    •  Auto 3:
      •  Backlight OFF conditions:

        •  Bit 11 of the Read Area “n+1” is reset.
        •  All touch switches are off.
        •  Backlight time has elapsed.
      •  Backlight ON conditions:
        •  Bit 11 of the Read Area “n+1” is reset.
        •  The screen is pressed.
        •  The screen is changed.
        •  An overlap is turned on/off.
        •  The multi‐overlap is changed
    •  Manual:
      •  Backlight ON/OFF conditions:

        •  The leading/falling edge of bit 11 of the Read Area “n+1”.
        •  Pressing the System + F5 function switch.
        •  Note that this will not work if bit 11 is set
    •  Manual 2:
      •  Same as Manual. The difference is the way the backlight comes on. When in Manual or Auto 1/2/3 modes, touching the screen will activate the acklight. The switches on the screen will not become active until 500ms after the backlight comes on. In Manual 2 mode the switches are active even while the backlight is off.
